Benefits of masks from fresh fruits

Benefits of masks from fresh fruits. We decided to find out how useful natural seasonal face masks are. To do this, we selected 5 options for fruit and berry mixes and asked the cosmetologist to talk about the effect of the components of these masks on the skin.

Masks are good for all skin types. Just for one skin type, some masks are more effective and useful, for another – others. It depends on the vitamins and acids that are contained in the components.

The most important contraindication for everyone is allergy. Plus, masks cannot be applied to inflamed or damaged areas of the skin.

About how quickly the positive effect of such masks sets in, Olga notes:

“ In two weeks you will see a positive effect.” The general condition of the skin will improve, it will become cleaner, lighten, blood flow will increase. In some cases, the result can be seen after the first application. Although home masks in modern cosmetology are a thing of the past (now they use ready-made hypoallergenic products in salons), they will not harm the skin.

Grate half the peeled apple on a fine grater, mash half the banana with a fork. Mix applesauce with banana pulp, lemon juice, and lightly whipped protein. Apply on face for 15 minutes, rinse with cool water.

“ I consider banana one of the best fruits for a mask,” Olga notes. – This fruit is, firstly, all-season and very affordable. It has vitamin E and ascorbic acid, which slow down skin aging and smooth wrinkles. It also contains B vitamins. Banana puree has a soft, creamy structure, convenient for masks.

The apple contains acids, has a keratolytic effect, that is, softens the upper, coarsened layer of the skin. An apple helps to tighten pores.

When you rub an apple, it quickly darkens – it oxidizes. Therefore, masks with an apple should be applied as quickly as possible. And it is better to prepare masks from apples grown in local latitudes. Because often imported fruits are treated with chemicals that will not benefit our skin.

Nourishing mask

Take a few cherries, remove the seeds, grind it into the pulp, add a third of a teaspoon of juice squeezed from lemon (if the skin is dry, it is better to exclude the lemon) and egg whipped to a strong foam. Stir, apply on face and rinse off after half an hour.

Cherry is rich in antioxidants, contains vitamins A, B1, B2, C. It is useful for aging skin, it supports tone and firmness. Cherry also helps the rapid formation of collagen fibers.

Egg white is especially good for aging skin. It rejuvenates, gives the skin a clean look, tightens pores.

Citric acid contains vitamin C, has a whitening effect. Citric acid is better not to get involved in the summer. Apply in case of dull complexion, aging skin, age spots.

Melon mask

Mix in equal proportions (1 tablespoon) melon pulp and grape juice. Apply the mixture on your face for 15 minutes, then wash with warm water, and then apply a nourishing moisturizer.

Melon contains vitamin A, which stops the aging process and inflammation, activates collagen. It also contains carotene, which perfectly moisturizes dry skin.

By the way, vitamin A is found in egg yolk, in sour cream, in oatmeal, which is also very often used in masks.

Grape juice contains a complex of acids, which will also benefit problem skin. Trace elements that are in grapes make the skin more supple and supple.

Nourishing mask

Peeled kiwi in mashed potatoes with half a banana. In the resulting mass, add another 1 tablespoon of cottage cheese. Stir everything and apply a generous layer on the face. After 20 minutes, rinse with warm water.

Kiwi has a lot of B vitamins, it contains vitamins C and E. That is, this fruit has anti-inflammatory and wound healing properties, relieves irritation, promotes the production of new collagen fibers, and tightens pores.

Cottage cheese refreshes and nourishes the skin, relieves inflammation, and improves complexion. But it is very inconvenient to lay on the skin and difficult to hold on the face, especially if the curd is grained. It is better to use on a gauze basis.

Mask for sensitive skin

Mix 2 tablespoons of grape juice with 1 tablespoon of cottage cheese and a teaspoon of honey. Rub everything well and apply on the face for 15 minutes. Then wash with water at room temperature.

We already said about cottage cheese and grape juice. Now about honey. In general, this is an ambiguous product in the sense that it causes allergic reactions in many people. Otherwise, honey has a lifting effect, nourishes the skin, has a tonic effect, as well as anti-inflammatory properties.

“ Such home masks can be used 2 times a week,” Olga says. – Before this, it is imperative to thoroughly cleanse the face, and after use, rinse thoroughly with cool water. Keep masks for at least 10 – 15 minutes.

I note that fruits and berries should be fresh! They cannot be prepared and refrigerated for later. You need to use it immediately.

If you have serious skin problems, then you will not solve this issue with masks. They will improve the general condition, but will not save you from problems. In such cases, you need to act reasonably and it is better to consult a specialist.

We wish you a tasty and healthy summer!
